Angry Keyboard is a studio in Decatur, Alabama, that helps service businesses compete and grow through strategic websites, custom software, and digital marketing. This page explains what we collect when you visit angrykeyboard.com, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it. The short version: we collect what you give us so we can answer you, and we measure our ads. We don't sell your information.
What you give us
When you fill out our quiz or ask for a call, we collect what you type in: your name, your business name, your phone number, your email address, what you're looking for, any message you write, and the call time you pick.
We use it for one thing: to respond to your request. That means calling, texting, or emailing you about what you asked for. We store it in our own system so your request doesn't get lost.
Text messages
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we use it to text you about your request, as described in our Terms of Service. Reply STOP to opt out at any time.
We do not share your mobile number or your consent to receive texts with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from every other kind of sharing described on this page and are never shared with third parties, except the messaging provider that delivers the texts on our behalf.
What gets collected automatically
Like most websites, ours runs on service providers that see basic technical information when you load a page: your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages you visit. Our site is hosted on Cloudflare, and our images are served by Cloudinary.
The Meta Pixel
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. To measure whether those ads work, our site uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, Inc. It uses cookies and similar technology to record visits to our pages, when someone opens our quiz, and when someone completes it. Meta may combine this with other information it has, and uses it to show and measure ads, according to Meta's Privacy Policy.
What we send Meta is limited on purpose. The pixel reports that a quiz was opened or completed, and which kind: an intro call, custom software, or a website. It does not send your name, email, phone number, or anything you type into the quiz.
You can limit this tracking. Change your ad preferences on Facebook, block third-party cookies in your browser, or use a browser or extension with tracking protection. You can also opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing. Your mobile number and text messaging consent are never shared for marketing, as described under Text messages. It's handled by the service providers that run our site and systems, and by Meta as described above. We'll also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your request for as long as it's useful for talking with you or working together. Ask us to delete it and we will, unless we need to keep a record for legal or accounting reasons.
Your choices
Email us to see what we have about you, correct it, or delete it. If we contact you and you'd rather we didn't, tell us and we'll stop.
Children
Our site is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change what we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and its effective date.
