How we start

The two-week roadmap.

We come in, map what's actually broken, and hand you a build plan with real numbers — yours to keep whether you ever hire us again.

Fixed price, agreed before we start. We read every application and answer within three business days.

What the two weeks are

  1. 1

    We watch the work happen

Time with the people doing the job, not just the people describing it. The spreadsheet everyone actually uses, the step nobody documented, the thing two people fix by hand every Friday.

  2. 2

We find where the money leaks

Work performed and never invoiced. Licenses paid per head. Hours spent re-typing something a machine already knows. We put numbers on them, or we say we couldn't.

  3. 3

    We write the build down

Scope, sequence, price and deadline, in the order it should be built and with the cheapest useful piece first. Costed the way we would bid it, because we would.

What you own at the end

  • A written map of the operation as it actually runs today.
  • The list of what's broken, in the order it's costing you money.
  • A phased build plan with a price and a deadline against each phase — the estimate itself, not a sales summary of one.
  • What to do about the pieces we would not build, including where buying something off the shelf is the right answer.

It's yours outright. Take it to us, take it to another shop, take it to your own team, or put it in a drawer. There is no clause that makes it ours, and no discount for staying.

What it costs

$7,500 to $15,000

Set by the size of the operation and how many processes are in scope, and agreed in writing before the first day. Larger compliance-bound environments are quoted separately and cost more, because they take longer.

If you go on to build with us, the roadmap is what the build is bid from — so nothing in it gets researched, or charged for, twice.

What it isn't

  • It isn't a proposal. A proposal argues for the work. This prices it.
  • It isn't free discovery with an invoice attached. You are buying a document, and you get it whether or not you hire us.
  • It isn't a commitment to build. Plenty of roadmaps should end with "fix the process first, then call us."

Two ways in

Book twenty minutes and tell him what's broken, or send the application if you would rather write it down. Either way, if we're not the right shop for it we'll say so, and usually say who is.

Six intro calls a week. Twenty minutes. You talk to the builder.

We read every application and answer within three business days.
